Basically, all dust extractors have the task of thoroughly and carefully vacuuming up the fine dust/filing dust generated in the nail salon.

The models primarily differ in the performance of the respective unit. The number in the name of the dust extractors also indicates whether they have one or two motors. For example, the "Taifun I Premium GreenTech" has one motor, whereas the "Taifun II Premium GreenTech" is equipped with two motors. The decisive advantage of two motors is that the noise level is significantly lower in relation to the high suction power.

Which Nova Flair dust extractor is best suited depends primarily on your individual customer volume.

If the budget allows, the "Taifun 2 Premium GreenTech" is generally always recommended because the noise level is significantly lower in relation to the high suction power due to the two motors.

If you work with acrylic and therefore use a synthetic odor filter mat on your filter, we recommend the more powerful units for approx. 5 or more customers. These are more powerful and quieter, allowing them to work even more efficiently and quietly when using an odor filter mat.

The following rule of thumb can be helpful when choosing a dust extractor:

To reliably determine if it will fit, you can find the measurements in the product description of the respective dust extractor and compare them with your nail table.

Important:
The tabletop must not be "hollow" on the inside, otherwise the air being sucked in can enter the hollow space of the tabletop and the screws will not hold. We are particularly aware of this issue with IKEA tabletops. We therefore recommend using a solid wood tabletop.

1. Unplug the power cord
2. Loosen the black knurled screws on the front and remove the front panel
3. Pull out the filter and the underlying dust collection tray simultaneously
4. Carefully vacuum the dust side of the filter between the slats using a crevice nozzle attachment
5. Clean the dust collection tray (not included in delivery!) and disinfect it with an alcohol-free solution if necessary
6. Insert the dust collection tray and filter correctly (note the label on the filter)
7. Screw the front panel back on tightly

The dust extractor has a QR code, which is located on either the left or right side of the device. Scan the QR code to access technical data, operating manuals, information on warranties and repairs, and videos.

Please note that according to our safety instructions, no modifications may be made to the devices, as this will void the warranty. Repairs may only be performed by us or by an authorized specialist approved by us. Work performed by external service providers must always be documented.

Important note:
The breakage of the potentiometer axis does not constitute a warranty case. This damage is usually caused by improper handling, such as catching on clothing or accidental bumps with a knee or leg. A metal potentiometer axis cannot break during normal use, such as turning the control knob.

Cleaning at the following intervals is strongly recommended:

2-3 customers (low) ~ 1x weekly

4-7 customers (normal) ~ 1-2x weekly

7+ customers (high) ~ 2x weekly

When the filter capacity becomes increasingly exhausted, air resistance increases, which makes your dust extractor louder. This is an indication that the filters need to be cleaned.

Regular replacement with original products from Nova Flair maintains the 15-year warranty. Your dust extractor will reward you with maximum filter efficiency and performance.

A filter change is strongly recommended at the following intervals:

The black synthetic activated carbon filter mat (odor filter mat) is attached to the filter and serves to absorb and neutralize unpleasant and intense odors. In addition to the odor-neutralizing effect, it also prevents possible allergic reactions.

Therefore, if you work with acrylics, liquids, adhesives, or gels, we strongly recommend using the synthetic odor filter mat.

You only need the white filter fleece mats if you have a Taifun dust extractor built between 2009 and 2012. All newer devices no longer require them.
