Essentially, all dust extractors are designed to thoroughly and carefully extract fine/filing dust produced in the nail salon.

Which Nova Flair dust extractor is best suited depends primarily on your individual customer volume.

If the budget allows, the "Hurrican 2 GreenTech" is always recommended because, thanks to its two motors, the noise level is significantly lower in relation to its high suction power.

If you work with acrylic and therefore use a synthetic odor filter mat on your filter, then we recommend the more powerful devices for approximately 5 or more clients. These are more powerful and quieter, allowing them to work more efficiently and quietly when an odor filter mat is used.

The following rule of thumb can be helpful when choosing a dust extractor:

To ensure a precise fit, you can find the dimensions in the product description of each dust extractor and compare them with your nail table.

Important:
The table top must not be "hollow" inside, otherwise the sucked air can be drawn into the hollow space of the table top and the screws will not hold. We particularly know this problem from IKEA table tops. We therefore recommend using a solid wood panel.

1. Unplug the power cord
2. Loosen the black knurled screws on the front and remove the front panel
3. Pull out the filter and the underlying dust collection tray (not included!) simultaneously
4. Carefully vacuum the dust side of the filter between the lamellae with a crevice nozzle attachment
5. Clean the dust collection tray and disinfect it with an alcohol-free solution if necessary
6. Insert the dust collection tray and filter in the correct direction (observe the label on the filter)
7. Screw the front panel back on tightly

The dust extractor is equipped with a QR code, located on either the left or right side of the device. Scan the QR code to access technical data, operating instructions, warranty and repair information, and videos.

Please note that according to our safety instructions, no modifications may be made to the devices, as this will void the warranty. Repairs may only be carried out by us or by an authorized specialist after our approval. Work carried out by external service providers must always be documented.

Important note:
The breakage of the potentiometer shaft does not constitute a warranty claim. This damage typically occurs due to improper handling, such as snagging on clothing or accidental bumps with the knee or leg. A metallic potentiometer shaft cannot break during normal use, such as turning the knob.

Cleaning at the following intervals is strongly recommended:

Daily Volume:

2-3 clients (low) ~ once weekly

4-7 clients (normal) ~ 1-2 times weekly

7+ clients (high) ~ twice weekly

As the filter capacity becomes increasingly exhausted, air resistance increases, making your dust extractor louder. This indicates that the filters need to be cleaned.

Regular replacement with original Nova Flair products maintains the 15-year warranty. Your dust extractor will thank you with maximum filtering and performance capabilities.

The black synthetic activated carbon filter mat (odor filter mat) is attached to the filter and serves to absorb and neutralize unpleasant and intense odors. In addition to its odor-neutralizing effect, it also prevents possible allergic reactions.

Therefore, if you work with acrylic, liquids, adhesives, or gels, we strongly recommend using the synthetic odor filter mat.
